Football Game Preview: Saint James Trojans vs. Cleburne County Tigers + Official Tickets

The Saint James Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Cleburne County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Saint James came up short against Booker T. Washington on Friday, falling 26-6. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Cleburne County took a 23-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tallassee.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed ten in total. All those points came courtesy of Erick Escandon-Paredes: he added nine points with three field goals and another on an extra-point kick.

Cleburne County's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Saint James, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Saint James took their win against Cleburne County when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 55-35 score. In that matchup, the Trojans amassed a halftime lead of 35-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
