While King's Way Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Columbia Bruins on Tuesday as they made off with an 18-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Reece Johnson was a standout: he got on base in five of his six plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for King's Way Christian: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Sam Somarakis was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.

King's Way Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.

King's Way Christian's record now sits at 6-3. As for Columbia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

King's Way Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against Columbia: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
