Football Recap: Burnet Bulldogs vs. East View Patriots
Friday just wasn't the day for Burnet's offense. They had to suffer through a 51-0 loss at the hands of the East View Patriots.
Rhett Murray threw for 121 yards on 11 of 27 attempts.
Marcus Pimentel was his top target, picking up 59 receiving yards. On the ground,
Josiah Coronado rushed for 56 yards.
Ty Blair had an outrageously good game for East View as he threw for 159 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 62 yards on only five carries.
Burnet's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for East View, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
Burnet is taking a road trip to take on Little River Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Little River Academy focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday. As for East View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
