McDonogh entered their contest against St. Timothy on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The McDonogh Eagles took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Timothy's. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

McDonogh's defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-7. As for St. Timothy's, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDonogh will square off against Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Timothy's, they will take on Mercy at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
