Football Recap: Bainbridge Bearcats vs. Cook Hornets
Bainbridge had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it seven. They took a hard 22-6 fall against the Cook Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 13-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.
Brooks Hines threw for 63 yards on seven of 25 attempts. Vontrey Willingham was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards. On the ground, Xzabion Jackson rushed for 28 yards.
