Basketball Game Preview: Warden Cougars vs. Toledo Indians

The Warden Cougars will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Toledo Indians at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Saturday, Warden ended up a good deal behind Columbia and lost 44-29. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Coyotes are ranked 80th).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Toledo against Friday Harbor on Saturday as the squad secured a 56-14 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 39 points or more this season.

Toledo now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Warden, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
