Basketball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for Bullard

On Monday, the Bullard Panthers beat the Jefferson Bulldogs 65-53. The win was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 436th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 151st).

Bullard's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Jefferson, they moved to 15-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bullard will square off against Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to take on Hughes Springs at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson is facing Hughes Springs at the right time seeing as Hughes Springs is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
