On Tuesday, Legacy got the W thanks in part to Gianna Schmidt playing the best football she has all season. Schmidt threw for 214 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 71 yards, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she has now passed for three or more in the last three games she's played.
Schmidt and Legacy are taking a road trip to challenge Ralston Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will pit Schmidt up against the Mustangs' star quarterback Zoe Zoll.
