Volleyball Recap: Arvada Starts off Right with Win over Adams City + How To Watch

Arvada took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Adams City Eagles 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Arvada had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 24-26, 25-21, 25-13, 15-3.

Lilly Rice paced Arvada's offense, picking up nine kills. Rice got some help from Lily Heck and her nine assists. Heck was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Arvada has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Manual on the 26th. As for Adams City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Jefferson on the 26th.
