Johnston waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Cavaliers back in April, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Johnston took Juanita Sanchez Complex into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 25-13, 22-25, 15-13.

Johnston pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
