Baseball Recap: Berkeley Yellowjackets vs. Oakland Tech Bulldogs
There's no place like home for Berkeley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Oakland Tech Bulldogs on Saturday. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Quinton Hill made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Sasha Spahr looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low.
