            Volleyball Recap: Holy Cross Indians vs. Taylor Yellowjackets        
        
		
        
        
            Holy Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Taylor Yellowjackets, falling  3-0.
 While Holy Cross was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22,  25-15.
 Leading Taylor to victory were  Max Foley and  Jaxson Snell.  Foley  had eight  digs and five  assists, while  Snell  hit 69.2% for ten  kills and nine  digs and two  aces. That's the most  kills  Snell has posted  over his last eight  contests.  William Gooding also deserves some recognition as  he  posted his first assist of the season.
Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Taylor, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record  this season.
 Holy Cross does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Taylor, they will square off against Turpin at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. The timing is sure in the Yellowjackets' favor as the  squad sits on five straight wins at home while the Spartans have been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
