Volleyball Recap: Wagner's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

It was a good run, but Wagner unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Winner Warriors. The Red Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Hannah Holzbauer paced Wagner's offense, picking up nine kills. Holzbauer got some help from Braxton Nedved and her 15 assists.

Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Winner, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-6.

Coincidentally, Wagner and Winner will both be playing Burke the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Red Raiders will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
