Burns is the nation's No. 51 recruit overall by
247Sports and the fifth-best senior defensive end in the country.
The fast, long and strong senior had 60 tackles last season for American Heritage, including 15.5 sacks.
As seen on his Top 5 plays, Burns can get in the backfield quickly and is also a great leaper, as shown on a blocked field goal try.
According to the 247Sports Crystal Ball, Florida (69 percent) has the best chance of landing Burns, followed by Georgia (15 percent), Miami (8 percent) and Florida State (8 percent).
American Heritage went 9-2 last season. For his career, Burns had 160 tackles – 39.5 for loss — and 28 sacks in 35 games.
