Football Recap: Clover Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Clover's offense. They took a blow against the Indian Land Warriors on Friday, falling 35-0. While losing is never fun, the Blue Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Warriors are ranked fifth).

Indian Land's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matt Kucia, who threw for 300 yards and four TDs while completing 87.1% of his passes. Those 300 passing yards gave Kucia a new career-high. Sequel Patterson was in the mix as well, providing Indian Land with two scores.

This is the second loss in a row for Clover and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Indian Land, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.
