Baseball Recap: Wabash Takes a Loss

Wabash lost against Eastbrook on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Apaches might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to the Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wabash saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Winget, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Wabash's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Eastbrook, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wabash will welcome Manchester at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastbrook, they will be playing at home against Blackford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Panthers' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Bruins have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
