Homestead entered their tilt with Columbia City on Thursday with 15 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 16. They blew past the Eagles 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Homestead never let Columbia City on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 29-27.

Eli Hallman paced Homestead's offense, picking up nine kills. Hallman got some help from Jesse Biedenbach and his 28 assists. Brady Henline controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Homestead's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2. As for Columbia City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Homestead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Woodlan on the 5th. As for Columbia City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Park Tudor on the 3rd.
