Soccer Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Centennial was a bit more limited in their matchup on Sunday. They fell just short of the Champaign Central Maroons by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Centennial of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Alaina Kimble, who's now up to six this season.

Centennial dropped their record down to 9-8-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Champaign Central, their record now sits at 8-5.
