Football Recap: Newburgh Free Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Kingston

Newburgh Free Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They breezed past the Kingston Tigers to the tune of 38-6.

Newburgh Free Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aubrey Pitcher and Desirae Rice.

Newburgh Free Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 28-6 victory against Valley Central on the 2nd. As for Kingston, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Goldbacks at 6:15 p.m. on the 30th.
