Soccer Recap: Southeastern Local Takes a Loss

After flying high against Grove City Christian on Thursday, Southeastern Local came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the West Liberty-Salem Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. Southeastern Local have struggled against West Liberty-Salem recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Galina Spracklen and Josie Henry scored both of Southeastern Local's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 59 goals.

Southeastern Local's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for West Liberty-Salem, their win bumped their record up to 4-10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Southeastern Local will face off against Carlisle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Liberty-Salem, they will take on Lehman Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
