Softball Preview: Gibson Southern Titans vs. North Posey Vikings

The Gibson Southern Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Posey Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Gibson Southern will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.

Gibson Southern stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They put the hurt on Jasper with a sharp 8-2 victory.

Carly Potts was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. Potts was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and a double.

In other batting news, Gibson Southern let Ally Malone and Lauryn Adamson loose on the outfield.
