Soccer Recap: Hays Comes Up Short

Hays managed to keep up with Dodge City until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Indians lost 6-0 to the Demons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hays of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Hays' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Dodge City, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hays is set to challenge their familiar foe Great Bend at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dodge City will face off against rival Garden City on Tuesday.
