It was a good run, but Blue Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Varsity Opponent by a score of 4-3. If the Jays were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Varsity Opponent when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dominic Paul made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Blue Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Front Royal HomeSchool on the 12th. As for Varsity Opponent, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-3 defeat against Cornerstone Christian on the 9th.
