Baseball Recap: Bell Creek Academy Find Success

While Bell Creek Academy's victory against Sarasota Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Blazers 4-3. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Blazers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Evan Booker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Braylin Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bell Creek Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-3-3. As for Sarasota Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Coincidentally, Bell Creek Academy and Sarasota Christian will both be playing Seffner Christian the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Crusaders on Friday, while the Blazers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
