South Glens Falls had to settle for second on Wednesday, but Rowan Brown sure wasn't going down easily. Brown wasn't messing around, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with two or fewer walks.

Even though Brown couldn't lead South Glens Falls over Queensbury, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long.
