Cave Spring played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Pulaski County Cougars. That five run margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.
Landon Mathews spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on eight hits and racked up six Ks.
