Basketball Recap: Cumberland Valley Eagles vs. Chambersburg Trojans

The Cumberland Valley Eagles won the last time they faced the Chambersburg Trojans, and things went their way on Monday too. Cumberland Valley came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 63-54. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cumberland Valley.

Cumberland Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Creston Austin, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Jared Dolimpio was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Cumberland Valley pushed their record up to 17-3 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Chambersburg, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5-1.
