Softball Recap: Cleveland Warriors vs. McDaniel Mountain Lions
Cleveland won against Grant on Tuesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Warriors blew past the McDaniel Mountain Lions 12-2. With that win, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Jillian Lee made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Clara Waldron was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Estelle Ranta was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Cleveland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
