Basketball Recap: Boulder City's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Boulder City had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Pahrump Valley Trojans as they made off with a 64-41 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boulder City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sean Pendleton, who went 6 of 15 en route to 14 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luke Wright, who posted 12 points and four steals.

Boulder City was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.

Boulder City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Pahrump Valley, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Boulder City will venture away from home to take on Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pahrump Valley, they will square off against The Meadows School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
