Volleyball Recap: Sauk Prairie Finds Playoff Glory Versus Waupun

With a playoff win on the line, Sauk Prairie rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Waupun Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Bentlee Conway was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high. Leah Allen was another key player, getting 11 assists and nine digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Sauk Prairie was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Waupun only served four.

Sauk Prairie's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-5. As for Waupun, they moved to 16-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Sauk Prairie has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against McFarland on the 25th. Waupun does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
