Maury got themselves on the board against Norcom on Friday, but Norcom never followed suit. They had just enough and edged out the Greyhounds 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Commodores sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Maury's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Norcom, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Maury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Norcom, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arcadia at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Firebirds' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Greyhounds' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
