Roncalli extended the longest winning streak in Northeast this week by beating Redfield/Doland, 47-0. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Roncalli took down the Pheasants 47-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Webster's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Reid Valsvig threw for 136 and two touchdowns and Jared Mcclurg had 76 yards receiving. On the ground Mcclurg chipped in 45 yards. Andy Rithmiller helped Webster's passing attack out by catching three balls for 40 yards.
Webster's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bearcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Valsvig has thrown for 581 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Rithmiller has 10 catches for 233 yards. Rithmiller leads the league in rushing with 540 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Sisseton takes on Terry Dosch's team. As it stands, the Redmen are in fifth, while the Cavaliers are in first.
Roncalli led Northeast in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Redfield/Doland.
