Baseball Recap: Lake Nona Comes Up Short

Lake Nona made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Olympia, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions fell just short of the Titans by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Alonso Leon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Ramsey, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run.

Lake Nona's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Olympia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Lake Nona will welcome Innovation at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Olympia, they will head out to challenge Cypress Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
