Volleyball Recap: Evansville Memorial Tigers vs. Boonville Pioneers
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Evansville Memorial had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Boonville Pioneers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-13.
Among those leading the charge was Kendall Agler, who had 11 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.
Evansville Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for Boonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.
After both having extra time off, Evansville Memorial and Silver Creek will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Boonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
