Baseball Recap: Vicksburg Takes a Loss

Vicksburg lost against Pearl on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vicksburg Gators might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-4 to the Pearl Pirates, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vicksburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolten Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Vicksburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Pearl, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Coming up, Vicksburg will take on Ridgeland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearl has already played their next game (against Terry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
