Softball Recap: Red Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Red Boiling Springs's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Gordonsville Tigers on Thursday. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 19-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Red Boiling Springs now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Gordonsville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Boiling Springs will venture away from home to square off against Cannon County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gordonsville, they will head out on the road to take on Coffee County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coffee County Central will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
