Basketball Recap: El Camino Comes Up Short

El Camino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rio Linda Knights. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 57-43.

El Camino's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Rio Linda, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-20.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Camino will challenge Casa Roble at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Casa Roble knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully El Camino likes a good challenge. As for Rio Linda, they will face off against Sutter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
