Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only York walked away with it. They came out on top against the Lake Region Lakers by a score of 14-11 on Thursday. The Wildcats' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Piper Catanese, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Lindsay Rivers was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: York kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.

York's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Lake Region, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

As of now, neither York nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
