Liberty and Heritage are an even 4-4-2 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Minutemen will host the Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, Liberty came up short against Jefferson Forest and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Liberty can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Jefferson Forest are ranked 29th).

Liberty's goal came courtesy of Landon Dooley, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Heritage narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Rustburg 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Heritage.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Heritage, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-2.
