Softball Recap: Seymour Panthers vs. Harrold Hornets
Seymour had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Harrold Hornets with a sharp 21-11 victory on Tuesday. The Panthers' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.
B Hardin was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was B Pierce, who went 3-for-5 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs.
Hardin wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Seymour lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Seymour is facing Windthorst at the right time seeing as Windthorst is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Harrold, they will square off against Nocona on Friday. Nocona knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Harrold likes a good challenge.
