St. Charles East is a perfect 3-0 against Crystal Lake South since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Fighting Saints will be taking part in a tournament against the Gators at 8:00 a.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

St. Charles East's tournament run continued when they took on Waubonsie Valley on Friday. The Fighting Saints fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Crystal Lake South also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Geneva by a score of 2-0.

St. Charles East's loss dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Crystal Lake South, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

St. Charles East skirted past Crystal Lake South 2-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Saints since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
