Soccer Recap: Westside Takes a Loss

After flying high against Houston Math Science & Tech last Wednesday, Westside came back down to earth. The Westside Wolves fell just short of the Wisdom Generals by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for Wolves seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Wisdom, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cesar E. Chavez the next time they take the pitch. Westside will head out to face Cesar E. Chavez at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Wisdom will host them at 8:00 p.m. on February 11th.
