Daniel has gone a perfect 3-0 against Travelers Rest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will host the Devildogs at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Daniel's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.

On Wednesday, Daniel got the win against Pickens by a conclusive 60-37.

Daniel got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was James Epting out in front who went 5-for-7 on his way to 14 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Jackson Conley, who made all 5 shots he took for 10 points and six rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Daniel was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pickens only racked up eight.

Meanwhile, Travelers Rest was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 47-43 to Pickens. The Devildogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Daniel will need to focus on slowing down Caden Johnston, one of several Travelers Rest players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 13 points. Jackson Beavers was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.

Daniel is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points over those games. As for Travelers Rest, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Daniel strolled past Travelers Rest in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 63-44. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Devildogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
