Volleyball Recap: Eagle Point Comes Up Short

Eagle Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Thurston Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Eagle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Thurston, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eagle Point will challenge rival North Eugene at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thurston is set to square off against their familiar foe Crater at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
