It was a good run, but Randolph-Macon Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wakefield School Fighting Owls, falling 43-23. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Several Yellow Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kay Perry, who posted nine points. That was a full 39.1% of Randolph-Macon Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row Perry has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Wakefield School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joelle Domfeh led the charge by putting up 12 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Meira Barnaby, who put up 15 points along with eight boards and four steals.

Randolph-Macon Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Wakefield School, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Randolph-Macon Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wakefield School, they have already played their next matchup, a 56-26 defeat against Highland on the 21st.
