Baseball Recap: Pennridge's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pennridge entered their tilt with Quakertown on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Owen Dimmick made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tommy Ginnetti, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Andrew Rendler was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Pennridge pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
