Softball Game Preview: Nash Central Bulldogs vs. Bertie Falcons

For the second straight game, Nash Central will face off against Bertie. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nash Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.

Nash Central took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bertie as they made off with an 18-3 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

GRACYN KING made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. KING was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
