Football Recap: Nestucca Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Nestucca finally came back down to earth on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Knappa Loggers. The matchup marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Nestucca's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Knappa, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Nestucca will be playing in front of their home fans against Gaston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Greyhounds will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Knappa, they will take on Clatskanie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
