It was a good run, but Dinwiddie unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Powhatan Indians, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Dinwiddie's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Powhatan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Dinwiddie will face off against Thomas Dale at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Powhatan, they will square off against Huguenot at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
