Volleyball Recap: Carroll Takes Down Columbia City in a Playoff Battle

Carroll extended their postseason success on Saturday against Columbia City. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Carroll had a senior duo take command as Isaiah Trulock had 19 digs and two aces and Dominic Bennett had 21 assists and ten digs. Bennett is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 15 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Columbia City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Fort Wayne Northrop on the 17th. Columbia City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
